Workhorse Staffing is seeking a hands-on Operations Lead for a brand-new site with a long-established steel manufacturer. This is a key afternoon shift leadership role supporting production and logistics after day shift leadership finishes.

🔧 ROLE OVERVIEW

• Lead afternoon shift production and logistics teams
• Take handover from day shift leadership
• Supervise operations across production and dispatch
• Hands-on support including loading/unloading trucks
• Complete admin and computer-based tasks
• Make practical decisions and resolve issues quickly
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards

👤 WHAT YOU NEED

• Forklift licence (essential)
• Experience in production, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing leadership
• Hands-on, lead-from-the-floor approach
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Confident supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literate with ability to complete admin tasks
• Long-term mindset and stable work history preferred
• Steel or manufacturing industry experience highly regarded
